About: allows a job seeker in the state of Florida to search for  jobs, check out education and training opportunities, learn more about career building assistance and much more.  This site is built for all residents of the state of Florida and is free to use.  Employers can search for a candidate, create job listings, and review job market trends to help their business get the edge over the competition.  The site is operated by the Department of Economic Opportunity and Workforce Florida, Inc..  A user can conduct a basic search by keyword or location.  An advanced search can be performed and allows a user to conduct a more detailed search.  An advance search includes the ability to search by job criteria, full or part-time, job order number, employer criteria and salary just to name a few.  It is highly recommended that a user registers with Employ Florida for a number of reasons.  A registered user will be given the full range of features and services to assist them with finding a job and employers in their workforce development needs.  A registered user will be able to take advantage of the following features:

  • A personal file folder that will allow a user to save searches, system settings, and other relevant information
  • Access career assessment tools that will help match a users qualifications and abilities to specific job
  • The ability to customize the Employ Florida homepage
  • Create resumes and cover letters
  • Automated job searches that deliver job opportunities to your system message box, an e-mail address you provide, or both
